    Trainee Dental Nurse – Full Time (12-Month Fixed-Term Contract)

    We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Trainee Dental Nurse to join Dundalk Orthodontics on a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract.     As a Trainee Dental Nurse, you will work closely with our experienced orthodontic clinicians, supporting the delivery of high-quality treatments while developing your skills in a professional, supportive environment that places dental excellence and patient comfort at its core.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Providing chair-side support to clinicians during a wide range of orthodontic treatments, while learning best clinical practices.

    • Supporting the delivery of exceptional patient care, ensuring comfort, reassurance, and a positive experience for every patient.

    • Learning and adhering to strict clinical governance, infection control, decontamination, and sterilisation protocols in line with regulatory standards.

    • Preparing, setting up, and maintaining treatment rooms to support efficient, high-standard clinical care.

    • Updating and maintaining accurate patient records using modern, computerised dental software.

    • Assisting with reception and front-of-house duties when required, including appointment booking, patient communication, and general administrative support.

    • Willing to train towards a recognised Dental Nurse qualification.

    • Able to work effectively as part of a clinical team dedicated to dental excellence.

    • Available to work full time for the duration of the 12-month fixed-term contract, with flexibility to meet the needs of the practice.
