Finance Operational Performance Analyst

Permanent, Full‑time

Hybrid working – Bristol office once per week

The Role

As a Finance Operational Performance Analyst, you’ll support the delivery of weekly and monthly revenue and profitability analysis for the Dental Group. You’ll focus on key KPIs and trends, providing insight on performance against AOP and prior year, and highlighting areas of focus to drive future performance.

Responsibilities

• Support the Finance Operational Performance Business Partner in driving revenue growth across practices, campuses and regions
• Analyse performance across key revenue streams (NHS, Private, Subscription, UKI), identifying trends and areas of focus to support delivery of AOP targets
• Produce and maintain high-quality reporting that delivers clear, actionable insights for key stakeholders
• Own AM Hub reporting, including production, maintenance and resolving reporting queries
• Support the creation of revenue and KPI reporting for key management packs (e.g. BPC, Performance Health), ensuring clear and consistent messaging for Operations
• Develop high-quality, data-driven business cases to support decision making
• Attend and contribute to key operational meetings (e.g. with Regional and Area Managers)
• Support the annual budgeting process at practice level, focusing on revenue, challenging assumptions and identifying growth opportunities
• Provide ad hoc analytical and reporting support to the Head of Finance

Skills/Experience

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA/AAT)
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills (e.g. modelling, pivot tables)
• Confident presenter with strong PowerPoint skills
• Ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders and build strong working relationships
• Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and priorities simultaneously
