Senior Strategy Lead
12-Month Fixed-Term Contract
Hybrid role with a base location of Bristol, London, Leeds or Manchester. You'll typically spend 1-2 days per week either in the office or attending meetings and visiting practices.
At Bupa Dental Care, we're on an exciting journey of growth and transformation as we continue to provide high-quality dental care to millions of patients across the UK. We're now looking for a Senior Strategy Lead to play a pivotal role in shaping our future direction, partnering with senior leaders to drive strategic priorities and support key business decisions.
Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, you'll act as the strategic lead for the Dental Executive Team (DExT), helping to define and deliver our long-term vision. As a member of the Dental Senior Leadership Team, you'll lead the development and coordination of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with Market Unit and Group priorities while supporting the continued success and growth of Bupa Dental Care.
What you'll be doing
- Lead high-impact strategic projects from concept through to delivery, providing insight and recommendations that shape key business decisions.
- Use market research, data analysis and financial modelling to identify opportunities and influence strategy.
- Present complex information clearly, helping senior leaders make informed decisions.
- Own insight into the UK dental market, competitors and industry trends, keeping Bupa Dental Care ahead of the curve.
- Lead strategic reporting for senior leaders and governance forums across Bupa.
- Build strong relationships across Commercial, Operations, Finance, IT, Transformation, Clinical and People teams to drive collaboration and strategic change.
- Champion and raise the profile of strategy across Bupa Dental Care and the wider Bupa Group.
What you'll bring
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to turn complex data and insights into clear recommendations.
- Experience using qualitative and quantitative analysis, including financial modelling, market assessment and business case development.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the confidence to engage and present to senior stakeholders.
- Highly organised and self-motivated, able to manage multiple priorities and deliver at pace.
- Strong relationship-building skills, with a collaborative approach and the ability to influence across a complex organisation.
- Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills. Experience with tools such as Python, machine learning or advanced analytics would be an advantage.
Experience we're looking for
- Experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy or business strategy roles, ideally at Manager or Senior Manager level.
- A genuine interest in healthcare and the wider market environment. Healthcare sector experience is beneficial but not essential.
- A strong understanding of strategic frameworks and methodologies, with the ability to apply them to real-world business challenges.
- Experience working with senior leaders and supporting business-critical decision making.
