📍 About the Practice & Location Based in Newark, you’ll be working in a modern, well-run practice with an experienced clinical team who are passionate about delivering excellent patient care and supporting apprentices to succeed. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to develop new skills, gain hands-on experience, and begin a rewarding career in dental nursing.
⏰ Working Hours This is a full-time position, 38 hours per week, working across the following rota:
- Monday: 08:45 – 19:15
- Tuesday: 08:45 – 17:15
- Wednesday: 08:45 – 17:15
- Thursday: 08:45 – 17:15
- Friday: 08:45 – 15:15
🎓 What You'll Learn As an Apprentice Dental Nurse, you'll gain valuable experience while working alongside experienced dental professionals. You will learn how to:

What to expect from the Dental Nurse Apprenticeship
Our apprenticeship gives you the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to become a GDC‑registered Dental Nurse. You’ll earn while you learn, gaining hands‑on experience as you provide great patient care and support clinicians chairside.
You’ll also build core skills in areas such as:
- Oral anatomy and dental procedures
- Infection prevention and control
- Patient care and health promotion
- Safety, compliance and managing clinical situations
Qualification you’ll achieve
Level 3 Dental Nurse qualification completed over 18–24 months
Level 2 English and Maths (GCSE A*–C equivalents) required before your end point assessment — we’ll support you if you need to achieve these.
