This is a field-based role with travel around Manchester and nearby areas, so you’ll need to be based locally or within a reasonable commute

As an Area Manager at Bupa, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping the future of our business by enhancing Practice Health, delivering outstanding Patient Health, fostering a culture of People Health, contributing to Bupa’s commitment to Planet Health, all whilst driving Performance Health across your area. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Leading with Impact: Empower and support Practice Managers to achieve operational and clinical excellence while building strong relationships with clinical teams to maximize performance and growth.
- Delivering Patient-Centric Care: Ensure our patients receive outstanding care and experience, always putting their needs at the heart of everything we do.
- Developing a High-Performance Culture: Lead by example, coaching, mentoring, and inspiring your teams to reach their potential. Champion wellbeing, inclusivity, and high engagement.
- Driving Operational Excellence: Manage budgets, optimize practice capacity, and deliver strategic growth targets. Your ability to think commercially and make data-led decisions will set you apart.
- Enhancing Compliance & Governance: Ensure practices comply with all regulations and safety standards while supporting Practice Managers in maintaining high-quality patient care.
- Innovating for the Future: Lead your teams through change and continuous improvement, creating a culture where innovation thrives.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven Leadership: A track record of inspiring teams and driving performance across multiple locations, ideally within regulated services or clinical environments.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong business insight, with experience in managing P&L, revenue growth, and operational excellence.
- Customer-Obsessed: A passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences, and the ability to drive patient retention and long-term value.
- Adaptability & Resilience: Comfortable navigating change, embracing challenges, and leading your team through transformation.
- Strategic Mindset: Ability to make informed, data-driven decisions and translate strategic goals into tangible, high-impact actions.
