The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Conference Delivery Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of the Dental Health Is Live 2026 conference. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful delivery of an exceptional event that aligns with our strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
- Delivery Management: Working closely with the Project Manager, oversee the end-to-end delivery of the Dental Health Is Live 2026 conference, ensuring all activities are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
- Team Leadership: Lead a cross-functional team, fostering a culture of inclusivity, collaboration, and excellence. Provide clear direction, support, and motivation to achieve project goals.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including sponsors, partners, and suppliers. Ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
- Content Development: Collaborate with the content team to develop engaging and relevant conference content that aligns with our strategic objectives and resonates with our audience.
- Logistics Coordination: Manage all logistical aspects of the conference, including venue selection, accommodation, transportation, and on-site operations. Ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for all attendees.
- Budget Management: Working closely with the Project Manager, develop and manage the conference budget, ensuring all expenditures are tracked and controlled. Provide regular financial reports and updates to senior management.
- Marketing and Promotion: Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute a comprehensive marketing and promotional plan to drive attendance and engagement.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the smooth execution of the conference. Handle any issues that arise promptly and effectively.
- Post-Event Evaluation: Conduct a thorough post-event evaluation, gathering feedback from attendees, stakeholders, and team members. Use insights to improve future events and report on the conference's success.
Skills/Experience
- Proven experience in conference or event management, preferably within the healthcare or dental industry.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations with grace.
- Proficiency in event management software and tools.
