Pricing Lead (36155) -
Pricing Lead
Permanent, Full-time
Hybrid/Bristol
The Role
This is a high‑impact pricing leadership role at the centre of a major transformation within our dental business. As our Pricing Lead, you’ll shape the direction of our pricing strategy, strengthen pricing governance, and unlock new commercial opportunities across a nationwide clinical network.
You’ll work closely with senior leaders, operational teams, and IT to influence strategic decisions and improve how pricing is executed across our practices. Your work will bring greater clarity, accuracy, and competitiveness to our pricing model.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys combining analytical depth with cross‑functional collaboration - leading a team, driving meaningful change, and delivering measurable commercial value.
Accountabilities & Key Activities
- Develop and deliver the pricing strategy with the Head of Pricing - including treatment‑level fee modelling - to optimise revenue and profit while maintaining accuracy, competitiveness, and clinician/customer confidence.
- Strengthen pricing processes and governance across the dental business, improving data capture, quality, and reporting through enhanced Excel tools and BI dashboards.
- Work cross‑functionally with operational teams, commercial leaders, and IT to shape internal pricing systems, define requirements, and support the development of pricing software.
- Ensure pricing supports both commercial goals and clinical needs by monitoring adherence to pricing policies and championing best practice across practices.
- Provide insight and analysis to the Head of Pricing and Commercial Leadership Team, including channel, product, and regional analysis, plus ad‑hoc pricing and profitability investigations.
- Define and track pricing KPIs, ensuring the team produces clear, actionable insight to support strategic decisions across GM, Commercial, Operations and Finance.
- Play a key role in a high‑visibility transformation project-meeting deadlines, communicating progress, and escalating issues where needed.
- Support the design and pricing of new products and benefit changes.
- Lead and develop a team of 2 FTE to deliver annual and in‑year pricing changes and work closely with operations and practice colleagues.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has a solid background in revenue management or pricing within consumer products or services.
- Brings advanced Excel skills and experience in pricing modelling; Power BI experience is a bonus.
- Is highly analytical, data‑driven, and has excellent attention to detail.
- Shows strong commercial acumen and confident problem‑solving abilities.
- Communicates clearly and effectively, with the ability to collaborate with Operations, Finance, Data, and our Practice teams.
- Acts as a thought leader, guiding, motivating, and developing their team.
