Regional Marketing Manager - Central (5414)

We’re looking for a Regional Marketing Manager to join are growing Marketing team!

The role:

This position is a permanent position based in Central of the country so ideally you with be based in the Midlands with good access to transport links as travel is required in this role. You will be expected to visit our Head Office in Bristol fortnightly for 2-3 days.

As the Regional Marketing Manager (RMM) you must build relationships with practices in their region, understand their challenges and work quickly to provide advice, solutions and local marketing plans (using online and offline channels). As the RMM you will need to work collaboratively with marketing colleagues in the central brand, digital, CRM and design teams to ensure the activity is executed to best effect

Key responsibilities include-

  • Responsible for local marketing plans within their region
    • Build relationships with the Regional Director, Area Managers and Practice Managers to understand areas of opportunity for growth
    • Create bespoke local marketing plans where necessary for ‘focus’ practices, with very modest budgets of less than £5k – building brand and/or driving new patient recruitment
    • Use both on and offline media channels – assessing which media will provide the best ROI
    • Support the Practice Managers executing the plan, coaching them on best practice as needed
    • Strong commercial acumen to understand practice performance and conduct post activity evaluations
  • Lead the creation and implementation of key BDC local / national campaigns ensuring all activities deliver ROI
    • Create effective campaign briefs and to work collaboratively with the creative, digital, social and CRM teams to deliver engaging, integrated marketing plans
    • Manage the campaign planning process to ensure campaigns are delivered on time and within budget
    • Evaluate all campaigns and activity against clear and measurable KPIs and effectively communicates results to key stakeholders
    • Manage key agency and supplier relationships
    • Ensure effective and timely practice engagement for all marketing activities
  • Accountable for local marketing tools and resources

  • Proactively ensure Bupa Dental Care practices are a point of marketing excellence
    • Ensure practices are ‘on-brand’ displaying the latest promotion and campaign activity
    • Responsible for making sure treatments and services are promoted within practice, enhancing up-sell and cross sell opportunities
  • Support the overall marketing and brand plans whilst putting the patient / customer first
    • Be a customer-centric ambassador understanding and ensures they are embedded in brand activities
    • Understand the customer journey and identify areas of improvement or opportunity
    • Optimise the customer experience across online and offline touchpoints, including in-practice experience
    • Work with the Senior Marketing Manager to create and deliver the annual brand marketing plan to support business growth objectives and meet patient / customer needs
    • Work with the Integration Marketing Manager to ensure new acquisition activities to ensure on-brand and aligned with overall brand plan

What we’re looking for:

  • Educated to degree level, or equivalent
  • At least 5 years marketing experience, with at least 3 years’ working within direct response
  • Experience in both offline and online communications
  • B2C experience (within dental / healthcare would be an added advantage)
  • Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management
  • Used to working in a fast pace environment and ability to multi-task is essential
  • Customer focused with experience of delivering insight based marketing programmes and communications
  • Excellent planning and organisational abilities
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Analytical and commercial – able to make commercial decisions that will positively impact the bottom line
  • Pro-active self starter with a can-do attitude; uses initiative to make things happen
  • Budget management experience
  • Willing to travel regularly
