Hybrid role with occasional travel to our practices across the UK and monthly meetings in Bristol/London/Manchester
The Role
The Senior Local Marketing Manager at Bupa Dental Care drives and executes local marketing initiatives across our dental practices, aligning marketing activity with commercial objectives to identify growth opportunities and deliver consistent, organic growth.
Working closely with Operations, the wider marketing team and key stakeholders, the role ensures practice-level marketing is effective, cohesive and tailored to local needs, while advocating for practices and ensuring they have the support to succeed.
The role leads a regional, multi-channel team of six Local Marketing Managers, fostering collaboration across the marketing function and the wider Bupa organisation.

Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver local marketing strategies that drive patient acquisition, retention and organic growth across the dental practice portfolio.
- Lead and manage a regional, multi-channel marketing team, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture aligned to business goals.
- Partner closely with Operations to ensure local marketing activity aligns with commercial objectives and individual practice needs.
- Identify and capitalise on growth opportunities across the practice network to enhance overall business performance.
- Act as a key stakeholder for practices, working with Practice Managers, Area Managers and Regional Directors to address local marketing needs.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging and integration of local activity with wider marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Monitor and optimise marketing performance using data and insights, managing budgets to maximise ROI.
- Design and deliver scalable local marketing toolkits and initiatives that enable practices to implement high-impact activity efficiently.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Degree in Marketing, Business, or equivalent practical experience.
- Significant marketing experience, including leadership of local or regional marketing activity within a multi-site service or retail environment.
- Proven ability to develop and deliver marketing strategies that drive growth and strengthen brand visibility.
- Strong experience leading and managing a large, multi-channel marketing team, fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture.
- Confident using marketing performance data and insights to optimise activity and inform strategy.
- Experience in healthcare or dental care is advantageous but not essential.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, complex environment supporting a large practice or location network.
