Senior Product Manager - Connected Care

    9-month FTC

    Full-time

Hybrid role - occasional travel to our offices in Bristol, London & Manchester

    The Role

The Senior Product Manage (Connected Care) will define, develop and own the customer experience across Bupa’s Connected Care portfolio. Working closely with the Head of Connected Care Marketing, you’ll act as the key contact for Connected Care within Bupa Dental Care, ensuring business needs are aligned with wider market initiatives.

You’ll identify new opportunities and lead the development of product propositions, features and customer/clinical pathways, driving successful delivery through our dental practices. The role supports retention and growth by shaping a best‑in‑market value proposition through strong collaboration and effective operational delivery.

You’ll play a critical role in connecting dental services with Bupa’s wider health and insurance offerings, creating a seamless experience for customers, clinicians and practice teams. Using internal and external insights, you’ll ensure products are clinically appropriate, commercially viable and deliver strong customer value, while managing key third‑party relationships where required.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop a winning dental product and proposition for Bupa across general dentistry and specialist treatments, linking oral health and general health where appropriate.
    • Influence and develop care pathways to increase treatment delivery within Bupa practices.
    • Work closely with the Dental Insurance team and wider Bupa market units to build a “One Bupa” dental proposition.
    • Partner with marketing, business development and operational teams to drive demand into practices and support customer acquisition and retention.
    • Clearly articulate the product proposition, including target customers, customer needs, and Bupa’s differentiators.
    • Define product strategy and enable change across the customer journey to deliver volume and profitability targets.
    • Lead complex initiatives and projects, managing working groups and stakeholders across the business, including clinicians.
    • Use market, customer and competitor insight to inform product development, future pipeline planning, and product enhancements.
    • Produce business cases, review papers and cost–benefit analysis, securing approval for investment where required.
    • Set product objectives, targets and plans, and regularly review performance against customer satisfaction, fairness and commercial goals.
    • Maintain close contact with front-line teams to support training, communication and feedback.
    • Line manage team members where required, promoting strong performance, ethical behaviour and good customer outcomes.
    • Promote and uphold Bupa’s values of being brave, caring and responsible, contributing to an inclusive working environment.

    Skills/Experience

    • Proven track record in managing products and propositions and successfully delivering these to customers and specific markets (health sector experience advantageous).
    • Experience of working in regulated environments (financial services advantageous but not essential).
    • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects.
    • Collaborative leadership style with the ability to build, lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
    • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, both internal and external.
    • Experience developing strategy and translating it into operational plans to drive sales and growth.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Financially literate, with experience managing large budgets and business cases.
