    Talent & Leadership Development Partner

    Full-time, permanent 

    Flexible location - occasional travel to our offices in Bristol/London/Manchester 

    The Role

    We’re looking for a dynamic leadership development professional to partner with senior teams and deliver impactful, future-focused development across the business.

    In this role, you will:

    • Partner with the Dental Exec and DSLT to identify and deliver priority leadership development needs for a transforming, high-performing business.

    • Lead our talent review and leadership development cycle, working closely with the Head of TLD and MU colleagues to drive key leadership actions.

    • Collaborate with BGIUK, Group People teams, and external partners to design and deliver innovative, high-impact leadership solutions.

    Responsibilities

    • Project manage the talent discovery, development and action review cycle in Bupa Dental Care
    • Liaise with the BGIUK talent project team and leadership development project team to fulfil Dental requirements in the wider talent development strategy
    • Provide and maintain insightful talent data dashboards to guide decision making in talent and capability development, pipeline and succession management
    • Source, establish and manage relationships with external delivery partners and coaches, and those leading solution delivery from within Bupa
    • Co-develop and facilitate learning activities with DExT and DSLT as determined by priority needs identified
    • Provide partnering and coaching support to leaders to engage with and fulfil talent & leadership development plans and actions 
    • Work with the wider Dental TL&D team to adopt relevant workflows and design quality standards, working flexibly to meet priority needs of the teams
    • Adjust solutions to meet the needs of pace, longevity and audience by being closely and actively aligned to and aware of how the business is performing and operating at a senior level
    • Build and maintain professional, collaborative relationships with individuals and teams within and external to business / market unit / Group
    • Keep up to date with developments in talent and leadership and frequently activate an external network to enhance and stretch our thinking
    • Ensure that personal development is actively undertaken in line with personal and business objectives, in a way that role models self-development

    Experience/Skills required

    • Managing the talent development cycle and leadership development roadmap
    • Engaging and partnering senior stakeholders with gravitas and credibility 
    • Collating and interpreting talent data, key themes and opportunities, engaging decision makers with strategic talent narratives
    • Ability to research, design, test, deliver and evaluate leadership development learning products and solutions
    • Expertise in translating leadership competency frameworks and imperatives into engaging, applicable and effective development activities - in house, within Bupa and through external supplier relationships and partnerships
    • Partnering support for Dental Exec Team to deliver appropriate development priorities for their leadership teams
    • Partnering support for Dental Senior Leadership Team to manage developmental objectives and results

    About You

    • Agile and resilient, able to handle multiple projects and deliver at pace, bringing extensive subject matter expertise into a blend of tactical and strategic activities
    • Adept at applying functional knowledge to complex challenges in an engaging and accessible way
    • Able to work collaboratively and autonomously as projects require
    •  At the top of your game from a facilitation and performance coaching perspective
