    The Role

The Senior Website Optimisation Executive at Bupa Dental Care leads analytics, performance measurement, and optimisation across our digital platforms. The role focuses on monitoring, analysing, and improving website performance to drive user engagement and support the objectives of our 380+ dental practices.

Working closely with marketing, IT, creative and content teams, agencies, and the wider Bupa organisation, this role requires confident management and a collaborative, data-driven approach to continuous improvement.

Our culture values being brave, caring, and responsible, offering an inclusive workplace with flexible working and development opportunities. You will join a team committed to making a positive impact on health and wellbeing.

Experience in fast-paced service or retail environments is beneficial, alongside strong digital analytics skills, including Google Tag Manager. This role is key to strengthening Bupa Dental Care’s digital performance through advanced analytics.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead conversion rate optimisation (CRO) using FullStory and Google Analytics to identify underperformance and drive data-driven improvements.
    • Manage implementation of CRO website updates in Sitecore and launch A/B tests in Adobe Target, monitoring and reporting on impact.
    • Run CRO sessions with the digital team and stakeholders to generate ideas and implement recommendations.
    • Own end-to-end tracking: setting up custom events in Google Tag Manager and GA4, managing third-party tracking, testing, troubleshooting, and fixes.
    • Act as a key contact for digital performance, engaging stakeholders on strategy and results to ensure alignment with business objectives.
    • Lead the transition to new analytics systems, ensuring data continuity and improved reporting.
    • Produce regular and ad hoc web performance and campaign reports.
    • Deliver training on digital tools (e.g. GA4) to build team capability and support continuous learning.
    • Implement benchmarking across the Bupa group and against competitors to identify growth and optimisation opportunities.
    • Strengthen team capability through advanced tools including GA4, GTM, Supermetrics, Screaming Frog, FullStory, Looker Studio, Search Console, VWO and Adobe Target.
    • Lead website health monitoring, reducing technical issues across platforms.
    • Run crawl reports in Screaming Frog to resolve technical SEO issues (e.g. H1s, 404s, broken links, canonicals) and address accessibility issues from Crown Peak reports.
    • Oversee migrations and integrations, ensuring SEO, accessibility and performance standards are met.
    • Build strong relationships with Bupa UK and third-party agencies and act as a mentor and leader within the team.

    Skills/Experience

    • Degree in Digital Marketing, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
    • Professional Certifications in Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager preferred.
    • Proficient with data analysis tools such as GA4 and FullStory; and data visualisation tools such as Looker Studio.
    • Demonstrable experience setting up tracking in Google Tag Manager.
    • Experience using marketing intelligence platforms such as Supermetrics or Funnel.io.
    • Proficient with web optimisation and AB testing tools such as Adobe Target or VWO.
    • Good working knowledge of SEO (particularly technical SEO).
    • Good understanding of website code such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
    • Experience using CMS platforms (ideally Sitecore) preferred.
    • Demonstrable experience optimising large-scale websites, including monitoring health, troubleshooting issues, and implementing enhancements to improve performance and user experience.
    • Strong project management skills with experience leading digital projects from conception through to execution, including coordinating with various stakeholders and managing timelines and budgets.
    • Familiarity with the healthcare sector can be advantageous, especially understanding compliance and regulatory requirements affecting digital activities in healthcare.
