👩‍⚕️ Practice Manager Julie Hart at Bupa Dental Care West Kirby is looking for a caring and organised Decontamination Assistant to join her friendly team.

This exciting role also includes Receptionist duties — so confidence in a customer/patient-facing role is essential.

🛠️ Dental Decontamination Assistant Responsibilities 🛠️
⚡ Providing fully sterilised equipment in line with practice policies & HTM01-05 guidelines (full training provided)
🌟 Delivering excellent patient care behind the scenes
🧼 Setting up & managing the decontamination of instruments
✅ Ensuring Care Quality Commission requirements are met (training included)

✨ Receptionist Responsibilities ✨
👋 Meeting & greeting patients – delivering a great first impression and patient journey
📅 Booking/amending appointments, answering calls & updating patient records
🗂️ Co-ordinating care packages provided by our clinicians
💡 Promoting & upselling Bupa Dental Care services (Plan options, Finance & Insurance claims)
🤝 Excellent customer service (face-to-face, phone & email)
🦷 Supporting the Practice Manager & clinical team in smooth daily operations
💳 Handling payments accurately
🔒 Maintaining confidentiality while accessing sensitive information

Your skills and experience

• Ability to be positive and professional in a fast-paced environment
• Previous administration or receptionist experience, preferably within a healthcare setting
• Strong communication skills face to face, via telephone and email
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Outlook with overall strong organisation skills
• Previous experience with promoting company products and services
• Preferred Dentally experience
