Bupa Dental Care Colchester Dental Specialist Centre – Colchester, Essex Full Time – 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Kristyna Dronfield at Bupa Dental Care Colchester Dental Specialist Centre is looking for a GDC Registered Dental Nurse to join the team. This is an exciting opportunity for a nurse who is looking to develop into a Specialist Dental Nurse within a highly skilled referral environment. Working alongside an Orthodontist, Implant Surgeon and Periodontist, this role would suit an ambitious nurse who is keen to expand their clinical knowledge and build specialist nursing skills. Full support will be provided for additional training and extended duties qualifications, and candidates with existing post-registration qualifications will be considered for an enhanced rate of pay.

About the Role

In addition to chairside nursing, this position will involve discussing treatment plans with patients and supporting them throughout their treatment journey. As a result, we're looking for someone who is:

• GDC Registered
• Confident and professional when communicating with patients
• Passionate about patient care and treatment acceptance
• Organised and proactive
• Keen to develop specialist nursing skills and qualifications

Qualified Dental Nurse skills and experience required for this role:

• GDC Registered
• Preferred Dentally experience
• Ensure CQC requirements are met
• Update patient records - digitally held
• Set up decontamination of instruments
• Provide clinical chair-side support to dentists
• Undertake some reception duties
• Willingness to provide exceptional patient care
