PMO Analyst
Permanent, Full-time
Hybrid role based out of Bristol, London, or Manchester - 2 days a week in the office
The Role
Bupa Dental Care is at the start of a bold transformation journey - and we’re looking for someone who’s excited by the challenge of building, leading, and delivering high-impact change.
You'll play a key role in delivering Bupa Dental Care's transformation portfolio. Supporting the Senior PMO Manager, you'll help drive effective governance, reporting and delivery assurance across a range of strategic programmes and projects.
You'll provide insight and analysis that supports decision-making, helps manage risks and dependencies, and keeps delivery on track. Working closely with project and programme teams, you'll also help enhance PMO processes and ways of working, contributing to successful change and lasting business benefits.
What you'll be doing
Portfolio Governance & Reporting
- Support PMO governance, reporting and portfolio oversight.
- Coordinate governance forums and track risks, issues, dependencies and actions.
- Produce dashboards, reports and insights to support decision-making.
Planning & Delivery Support
- Support project planning, delivery tracking and portfolio management.
- Monitor progress, milestones, budgets, benefits and key dependencies.
Financial & Resource Management
- Support budget tracking, forecasting and resource planning across the portfolio.
Stakeholder Management
- Build strong relationships across project teams and support reporting for senior stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement
- Drive improvements in PMO processes, reporting and governance, promoting best practice across the portfolio.
What you'll need
- Proven experience in a project delivery environment
- Strong understanding of project and programme management methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2, Agile, MSP, Waterfall).
- Experience supporting complex portfolios and multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Strong governance, reporting, planning, and organisational skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and project management/reporting tools.
- Experience managing RAID logs, portfolio reporting, and governance forums.
- Knowledge of portfolio management tools such as Clarity, Planview, Jira, or MS Project.
- PMO, PRINCE2, MSP, or Agile certifications is desirable
- Experience with financial tracking and benefits management is desirable
