    The Role

As a Data Product Owner, you’ll shape and deliver high-impact data products that support better decision-making across the organisation.

    • Define and own the vision, strategy and roadmap for data products, aligned to business goals and measurable outcomes
    • Act as the key link between business stakeholders and data teams (engineering, BI, data science)
    • Build and manage senior stakeholder relationships, engaging at Head of and Exec level where needed
    • Translate complex, ambiguous problems into clear, prioritised product requirements
    • Balance competing priorities, delivering against both short-term needs and long-term strategy
    • Champion product-led thinking and agile ways of working within the data function
    • Ensure data platforms and products are scalable, reliable and aligned to user needs
    • Drive adoption and engagement with data products across the organisation
    • Promote data fluency and support a more data-driven culture
    • Coach and support team members, contributing to a collaborative, high-performing environment
    • Continuously review product performance, using data and feedback to improve outcomes

    Skills/Experience

    Essential:

    • Proven experience in product management or product ownership, within data or analytics environments
    • Strong understanding of data ecosystems including data platforms, data warehousing, BI tools and data science workflows
    • Experience working with cross-functional technical teams, including data engineers, analysts and scientists
    • Demonstrated ability to define product strategy and deliver against roadmap
    • Familiarity with agile methodologies and product management frameworks
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive insights
    • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
