The Role
At Bupa, we’re passionate about technology. With colleagues, customers and patients in mind, you’ll have the opportunity to work on innovative projects and make a real impact on people’s lives.
A key part of our strategy is bringing together data from multiple sources into a single, reliable and consistent platform to support analytics across the business.
We’re looking for a Product Owner to work closely with stakeholders across the business to shape and deliver applications. As part of a collaborative delivery team, you’ll work alongside Scrum Masters and developers to create bespoke solutions that support and evolve Bupa Dental Care’s strategy.
What you’ll be doing:
- Own and deliver the product strategy, roadmap and backlog, ensuring it aligns to business priorities
- Work closely with stakeholders across the business to shape and deliver product solutions
- Lead the creation and management of data models, including defining key data entities and standards
- Build and prioritise a value-led backlog, translating requirements into epics, features and user stories
- Collaborate with Scrum Masters and development teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions
- Set up and embed effective processes for stakeholder engagement, testing and feedback
- Ensure robust change management, assessing the impact of new features on existing processes
- Communicate progress, priorities and value clearly to stakeholders, addressing feedback and concerns
- Build strong relationships across the business to support successful delivery
- Contribute to continuous improvement of product management practices and ways of working
What you’ll bring:
- Experience owning and delivering product roadmaps and backlogs in a delivery-focused environment
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
- Experience translating business needs into clear product requirements and features
- Good understanding of user testing, analytics and measuring value through KPIs
- Experience working in Agile teams (e.g. Scrum, user stories, sprint ceremonies)
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work in complex environments
- Proactive, organised and able to manage competing priorities
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
Nice to have:
- Experience with dental or healthcare systems (e.g. Practice Management Systems)
- Experience across different project delivery methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall)
- Commercial experience in sectors such as healthcare, insurance or similar
Benefits
The benefits here are industry-leading, and we’ll be able to tell you more about them in the process (or jump to the benefits and rewards page on our careers site for a flavour). But here’s a snapshot:
