Salesforce Developer

Hybrid - occasional travel to our Bristol office

The Salesforce Developer role is to work within a development team to design, build, and maintain bespoke Salesforce solutions for the Bupa Dental UK business. The Developer will work within an Agile process to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions that help the business achieve their targets and improve workflows and processes throughout Bupa Dental UK.

Key responsibilities will include:

The Salesforce Developer will have:

• in-depth understanding of Salesforce development best practices and governor limits
• mastered the tools needed to debug and diagnose issues in any Salesforce environment
• the ability to understand the scope and relationships of features across the Salesforce
• platform
• subject matter expertise in at least one Salesforce cloud or technical area
• strong understanding of the Salesforce data model, security, and sharing

The Salesforce Developer will be able to:

• perform complex Apex programming and Lightning Web Component development
• participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• write and execute comprehensive test plans achieving required code coverage
• write functional specifications and technical documentation for features
• given a medium to large requirement, design and implement a complete solution

What we are looking for:

Essential:

• Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification
• Apex programming
• SOQL and SOSL queries
• Lightning Web Components (LWC)
• Salesforce Triggers and Flows
• Git version control
• Unit testing and test classes

Desirable:

• Salesforce Platform Developer II Certification
• Integration development (REST APIs, Platform Events)
• Visualforce (legacy maintenance)
• Salesforce DX and scratch orgs
• CI/CD with Azure DevOps or similar
• JavaScript/TypeScript
