Full Time/Permanent
Hybrid - occasional travel to our Bristol office
The Salesforce Developer role is to work within a development team to design, build, and maintain bespoke Salesforce solutions for the Bupa Dental UK business. The Developer will work within an Agile process to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions that help the business achieve their targets and improve workflows and processes throughout Bupa Dental UK.
Key responsibilities will include:
The Salesforce Developer will have:
- in-depth understanding of Salesforce development best practices and governor limits
- mastered the tools needed to debug and diagnose issues in any Salesforce environment
- the ability to understand the scope and relationships of features across the Salesforce
- platform
- subject matter expertise in at least one Salesforce cloud or technical area
- strong understanding of the Salesforce data model, security, and sharing
The Salesforce Developer will be able to:
- perform complex Apex programming and Lightning Web Component development
- participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
- write and execute comprehensive test plans achieving required code coverage
- write functional specifications and technical documentation for features
- given a medium to large requirement, design and implement a complete solution
What we are looking for:
Essential:
- Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification
- Apex programming
- SOQL and SOSL queries
- Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Salesforce Triggers and Flows
- Git version control
- Unit testing and test classes
Desirable:
- Salesforce Platform Developer II Certification
- Integration development (REST APIs, Platform Events)
- Visualforce (legacy maintenance)
- Salesforce DX and scratch orgs
- CI/CD with Azure DevOps or similar
- JavaScript/TypeScript
